* This accuracy figure does not include values related to discounts, as they are recorded in different ways by different vendors. Discount information (such as discount amounts, prices before discount, etc.) varies significantly in format and presentation across receipt and invoice systems, making standardized extraction more challenging.
Yes, there are API rate limits in place to ensure fair usage:
- 100 requests per minute
- 10,000 requests per day
Beyond these rate limits, the only other restriction is the number of scans your account is credited with.

- WiseOCR offers two pricing models:
- Pay as you go — purchase a set number of credits with 1 year validity. Use scans as needed without expiration concerns.
- Subscription — choose a monthly or annual billing cycle. Credits renew automatically each month, and unused credits roll over while your subscription is active. Annual billing saves up to 50% compared to monthly.
Annual subscriptions are billed once a year, upfront, and save you up to 50% compared to paying monthly.
Even though billing is yearly, your credits are still allocated monthly throughout the subscription period. For example, on a 1,000 credits/month plan, you receive 1,000 fresh credits every month for 12 months.
Unused credits roll over from one month to the next while your subscription is active. The subscription renews automatically every year, and you can cancel anytime from your dashboard.
- Yes! You can have an active subscription and Pay as you go credits simultaneously. Your subscription credits are always consumed first. Once they run out, the system automatically switches to your Pay as you go credits. This allows you to top up your subscription limit with additional purchased credits whenever needed.
- WiseOCR supports most graphic file formats like PNG, JPEG, and others, as well as PDFs (up to 5 pages). This ensures flexibility in the types of files you can upload for processing.
- Document processing speed varies based on several factors. PDF files generally require more time than image formats, and documents with complex layouts or large amounts of text take longer to analyze. In most cases, you'll get results within seconds, but more complex documents like multi-page PDF invoices might require several dozen seconds to process completely.
We're continuously working to improve processing speeds across all document types. However, our highest priority remains maintaining the exceptional accuracy of our extraction results.
